Dahlia Folds

I used the tutorial found HERE to make these cards. I think I like the blue one best. I used the Bali Breeze paper from SU.
I am currently watching Lost. I am so glad it's back on! But I gotta say, I'm so confused! LOL!

Frustrating!

So I had a couple of very pretty dahlia fold cards to upload today, but Blogger has other plans! I keep getting error messages every time I try to upload a picture! (stupid blogger)! Oh well, maybe later on today.

A Huge surprise

So I got my mail today and saw this huge envelope for me and I thought, "Hmm...I wonder what this is?" I see the return address is from Connie and wonder why is she sending me something? Well it turns out she is sending me something just because I happened to mention i liked it in one of my posts on her blog! Can you imagine? See, Connie has been busy making these valentine cards with this great paper, and she thought she'd send me some because I liked it so much!
Connie, you are a SWEATHEART!
Thank you so much!

Wild West

I am enjoying this colour combination...the bit of More Mustard added just the right amount of contrast.

stamp sets: BoHo Backgrounds
card stock: Night Of Navy, More Mustard, Ruby Red, white
ink: Ruby Red
Acc: jumbo eyelets, stampin' dimensionals

What? Blogging on the weekend?

I missed a couple days during the week so I thought I'd make up for it today.

I had my Open Stamp last night. I demo'd watercolouring techniques and everyone got to play with my punches, which seemed to be the big attraction. I am a huge fan of the punch.

On this card I used the new Boho Blossoms punch that fits over the flower stamp from One of a Kind. I also used the word window punch.

Wonderful Friend

I only used one stamp set to make this card...BoHo Backgrounds. I did use lots of punches, though. The medallion is punched out with 11/4" circle punch, layered atop a 1 3/4" inch circle punch, layered atop a scallop circle punch. The sentiment was stamped on vanilla and I used the word window punch to let the sentiment show through.

For You

Wow, what a busy weekend! I did a workshop Friday night, one Saturday night and my monthly crop on Sunday. Luckily, today I have no children 'til after school, so I can CHILLAX (as Spazzy would say)!
I also spent the day Saturday with my best girlfriend, Jen, and we had a really fun day!
Today's card is brought to you by the stamp set One of a Kind and the flower punch that matches it! I LOVE this set. These colours together are just so fun. Stamps: One of a Kind, BoHo Backgrounds
Paper/ink: Old Olive, Purely Pomegranite, Pumpkin Pie
accessories: BoHo Flower punch, pop dots

Celebrate Stars

Have you ever created something and it turned out exactly as you imagined it? Well, this card did! I LOVE the new jumbo wheel, Classic Stars. The new large star punch fits with it perfectly, too. Now I can hardly wait to get my small star punch!

Which one is better?

I am currently involved in a swap and I need to decide which card is better. I really like the first one, but am wondering if it's too plain for a swap? (although cutting out that center part was no picnic!)
The second card is wheeled on vellum.
The third card has lots of cut out flowers and dimensionals.
So, which card...1, 2 or 3? Please indicate 1, 2 or 3 in your post.

BoHo Pretties

Oh, how I adore my new new stamps! I got BoHo Backgrounds and One of a Kind and the pretty Berry Bliss paper! I used the scallop punch on the medallion...punched once, rotated, then punched again, creating tighter scallops. Pink taffeta ribbon and a jumbo eyelet finish it off. I used the BoHo backgrounds for this card. Then I stamped the flowers from One of a Kind and used the matching punch to punch them out. I used pretty in pink brads for the centers, and popped them up with stampin' dimensionals. Yep, I'm back, baby!

Top Dog

This is my friend Stephanie's new puppy Bruno. He is a Bermise Mountain dog. I had this paper and matching embellishments just waiting for cute dog pictures and she was kind enough to send them to me! Yep, I stitched on this LO, too!

The LO is from the sketch in the winter 08 edition of scrapbook & cards today, page 55.

The Most Perfect Day

OK, this started out being a LO for my Dr. Suess challenge ("Big S, little s, what begins with S? Sarah Sweetly Smiling. S, S, S." But I just kept layering the papers and stitching everywhere and decided to leave it just the way it is. All papers and embellishments are from the We R Memory Keepers BoHo Chic collection.

Dr. Suess Challenge

My friend Barb created this LO a while back, and I just love the Dr. Suess feel to this. I challenge you to create a LO using your letter of choice following this same formula...
Big (letter) Little (letter) what begins with (letter)
Have fun! Post a link to your creation in the comment section so everyone can see!

Family portrait

This is a picture of my mom and her family when she was about 8. This paper has been in my stash for so long, I have no idea what the manufacturer is. The patterned ribbon is from Foo-fa-la. The stamped image is from CTMH.

Awesome mail and PIF!

First, look at what I got from Maria! It's for the Pay It foreward RAK. In turn, I send a PIF to someone else, they send to someone, etc...Not only was this bag stamped all over, but the panel on the front was done in cracked glass! Just GORGEOUS! Inside the bag was a ton of beautiful matching hand made items, like a card, a recipe card, an altered notebook with my monogram on every page, starbuck's coffee and a Starbuck's coffee card! every item has been done with the cracked glass technique! WOW!

This group of goodies is from Malieta. LOVE both these cards! Very detailed! Isn't the Stampendous bee too cute?

A Christmas card from Simone. It's so cute, a little cock-eyed, just like me! Thanks, Spazzy!

This one from Corie! I was so glad to hear from her! This card is very detailed, also! And heavy!

Look at what sweet Connie sent! A BEAUTIFUL card (I was all about the red, green and white for Christmas this year) and a cute scrapbook kit! Thank you, Connie!

I am so lucky to have met some amazing people through this blog. Thank you so much for your kindness!
OK, off to work on my Pay It Foreward RAK!

Danny-O

Kaleb and Abby & Me 2007. Used the American Crafts rub-ons for the title. I love this paper...it's called Danny-O (I forget the manufacturer). It's perfect boy paper! Lots of stitching on this page also! The only stamping is down at the bottom...I used the "delight" stamp from the Define Your Life set from Stampin' Up.

If you click on the image, it will get bigger and you will be able to see all the stitching detail.
