Sketch Challenge Christmas card

Every once in a while, I will take part in a sketch challenge. It's a great way to challenge myself to do something different. Below is the sketch, and my interpretation of it.
I used my favourite Ornament Keepsakes satmp set and matching framelits and the Season of Style designer series paper.

Owl you need is love...

Every month I get together with some scrapping friends for our monthly crop...yesterday was the day. I created about 10 cards, and these 2 are my faves. I used the Love Letter designer paper...the colours are Crumb Cake, Black, Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler.
The first card looks so Gothic to me. I sponged black ink around the edges of the Cherry Cobbler card stock. The second card is based on the Mojo Monday sketch.
I sure had fun with my owl punch...I hadn't used it in quite a while. I also really like the patterns of the designer paper (page 173 in the catalogue). The sentiment "live laugh love" was a set I chose for FREE as my one of my Saleabration sets...it's on page 183.
If you would like to learn how to make cards and earn free product from the catalogue, please contact me! I would love to share with you!

I made this for a sketch challenge and I used the purple and yellow combo showcased in the Stampin' Success magazine. I pulled out Circle Circus that I haven't used in so long. I liked this card so much, I made 4 as thank you cards to have on hand.

Sketch Challenge

This is based on the sketch challenge at Stampin' Addicts...SASC38.
I used the pretty Sending Love designer series paper and the stamp set Vintage Vogue. I topped it off with the Heart embosselet (I LOVE this thing!) and used the modern label punch to cut out the sentiment.
Thanks for looking!

Teal Ornament

This card was created for the sketch challenge (SASC28) at Stampin' Addicts (my favourite hang out spot). I used the Holiday Lounge designer series paper with Tempting Turquoise card stock. To make the ornament, I used one of the rub ons from Merry and Bright rub on kit (page 25 of the mini catalogue). Then I punched it out with the so cool ornament punch. I love that this punch has a matching stamp set AND matching rub ons!
Thanks for looking!

Best Witches!

I followed Di's latest sketch to make this Halloween card. The paper actually has sparkle in it! This paper and Best Witches stamp came from Connie. I LOVE everything I got in my swap and I'm having so much fun playing! I hope Connie gets her swap package soon!

Wednesday means Di Hickman sketch!

I haven't done a Di sketch for a bit-being on holidays really messes up my routine! Now I'm back at work and back to my blogging routine!
I used Brocade Basics for this background, Baroque motifs for the base medalion and Brocade Basics for the center flower. Added a Bling brad. Used both narrow and wide organdy ribbons...(shoulda stocked up!)...and you can't see so much in the scan, but in real life there is the word cherish embossed in white and the bottom of the white panel.
I like the elegance and simplicity for this one, as the sketch is pretty dramatic.

Marie's Sketch

As soon as I saw this sketch from Marie Loves To Stamp, I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I ADORE this Batty wheel and Batty For You set! (I also used the Spider wheel I got last year...love these spiders!)
I used the Canvas BG...stamped with Wild Wasabi ink on Green Galor cardstock. The wheeled images and cat were stamped with Versamark and embossed with black EP. I punched the cat circle with my 1 1/4" circle punch and the black circle matt with my 1 3/4" circle punch. They are popped up with dimensionals. The green grosgrain ribbon and black brads finish it off.

A Challenge Card

I made this for a sketch challenge at Carte-Maniak. I decided on this colour combination: Real Red, Blue Bayou and Very Vanilla. I LOVE the colours together.
(The real red flowers really are real red in real life! LOL)
I stamped the background panel with the Linen BG stamp. The swirly on the side was stamped in Versamark and embossed with clear EP.

I did something!

I finally created something! I used this sketch by Di Hickman. I used the set Brocade Basics and embossed the swirly and the flowers. I used French Script for the background. I used the small flower and word Cherish from Baroque motifs. The colour combination is Groovy Guava, Old Olive and River Rock. Finally, I dug out my neglected eyelets and used my crop-a-dial.

Jen's Sketch

I made this using Jen's sketch (Pieces of Me). This was a really fun sketch to follow! All supplies are from Stampin' Up unless otherwise stated.
Stamp Set: Baroque Motifs, All Year Cheer
Ink and Card Stock: Purely Pomegranite, Blue Bayou, Black
Accesories: 1/2" circle punch (guard removed) for scallops, CM cutting system, black brads

This is Jen's sketch:

Cupcakes

I made this card for Greg's sketch challenge. I dusted off my rarely used Treat Yourself set.
You can't really see it, but the top of the cupcake is fully glittered.
I used a scallop square and ribbon that I got in a RAK from CaramelSue on Splitcoast Stampers. Thanks, Sue!

And this is Greg's sketch:

Joy Fold Card

I finally got around to doing Beate's challenge-a Joy Fold card. You can find Beate's tutorial here. I used the paper from Sentimental Journey pack (SU) that I bought and totally forgot about. It's actually really nice paper!
I will send this to my friend Sherida before she leaves for Convention!
