I received this cute Santa card from Carolyn Rideout of Twillingate, Newfoundland. She stamped santa on vellum then coloured him in. Thanks Carolyn! I love getting cards in the mail!

I received this very pretty card from Carolyn Rideout from Newfoundland. It is actually mounted on a white card, but the white would not show up in the scan. The flower is stamped on vellum, and mounted over white card stock. It is very pretty.
I really like getting cards in the mail. It makes me realize I need to send out more cards.

Barb's Card

My friend Barb (Scrappin Barb) sent me this awesome card. She says she misses my blog posts. So do I :( It is so hard finding time now. But I absolutely LOVE this card, Barb, it is definitely your style! I really like the different fonts for the sentiment.
She asks what I've been up to (since obviously I'm not blogging, LOL!) So here we go:
Up at 7:00am, out the door at 8:00am, work til 5:00, home by 5:30, change, make supper, clean up, then it's like 7:00. I'm tired. Maybe I'll get on the computer and blog, visit other sites, Facebook, etc...If I'm not going to bed, then I watch a bit of TV and I'm in bed by 10:00pm. MAYBE I'll create something.
My optimal "creative" time seems to strike me around 1:00 in the sfternoon....not surprising since that is when the kids would nap and I would stamp for an hour and a half. I don't seem to have it in me at night.
So there it is, kids, my day in a nutshell! LOL! Pretty exciting, huh?
I am LOVING all these amazing cards!

Oh, I LOVE this pretty card I recieved from Malieta! You can't really see in this scan, but the flowers are so sparkly! Thank you so much!
I have to apologize for my absence lately. I am trying to get used to this job I've got and it is so hard...I am so tired when I get home.

A Huge surprise

So I got my mail today and saw this huge envelope for me and I thought, "Hmm...I wonder what this is?" I see the return address is from Connie and wonder why is she sending me something? Well it turns out she is sending me something just because I happened to mention i liked it in one of my posts on her blog! Can you imagine? See, Connie has been busy making these valentine cards with this great paper, and she thought she'd send me some because I liked it so much!

Awesome mail and PIF!

First, look at what I got from Maria! It's for the Pay It foreward RAK. In turn, I send a PIF to someone else, they send to someone, etc...Not only was this bag stamped all over, but the panel on the front was done in cracked glass! Just GORGEOUS! Inside the bag was a ton of beautiful matching hand made items, like a card, a recipe card, an altered notebook with my monogram on every page, starbuck's coffee and a Starbuck's coffee card! every item has been done with the cracked glass technique! WOW!

This group of goodies is from Malieta. LOVE both these cards! Very detailed! Isn't the Stampendous bee too cute?

I recieved this beautiful card from Colleen a couple of weeks ago, but I was asked not to share it until now, as she used a technique that she was going to be teaching it on one of her design teams. I LOVE the background! This festive Christmas card is from Flossie. It is my first holiday card of the season! I am loving red, green and white for Christmas this year!
