Took a few minutes to create this morning...

I took time to create just for me today. I finally used my ticket wheel and ticket punch is really cool! I know there will be stamps available in the Occasions catalogue to go with the ticket punch, so I am super excited about that! I hope you enjoy the following instructions and you will be able to find all the products used in the Idea book and Catalogue or the Holiday catalogue.

Card Instructions:

-cut card base from Always Artichoke (cut at 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4")
-cut designer paper at 5 1/4"x 2" for top layer, 5 1/4" x 2" for bottom layer
-roll Take a Ticket wheel (page 32) on Very Vanilla card stock so you have 3 full tickets
-use the Ticket Duo punch (page 182) to cut out 3 tickets
-adhere them across the middle, covering the lines between the top and bottom layer of designer paper
-use the 3rd size from the middle of the Window Frames Framelits (page 30 of the Holiday catalogue) to cut out Always Artichoke layer
-use the 2nd size from the middle of the Window Frames Framelits to cut out designer paper
-place the Festive paper piercing sheet (page 30 of the Holiday catalogue) over the Always Artichoke frame and pierce the holes
-stamp Blissful Bird (page 72) using Cherry cobbler ink
-punch the bird and wing using the Bird Builder punch (page 185)
-use Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the bird and the bird's wing
-Run the Little Leaves Sizzlets (page 191) on Certainly Celery card stock through the Big Shot
-you will need to tear the leaves in 3, so they will all fit under and around the bird

Printer's Tray

I decided to turn my Hallowe'en Printer's Tray into a Christmas Printer's Tray!
I used the beautiful Candlelight Christmas designer series paper. I used the Snow Flurry Bigz die and made snowflakes out of the silver glimmer paper. I added buttons tied with Cherry cobbler baker's twine. I created the JOY with the Typeset alphabet I just need to take a really great picture to put in here!

Be Spoiled Stampin'Up! Style!

Our first ever weekend retreat...Be Spoiled Stampin'Up! Style weekend retreat!
Friday night, we gave out pillow gifts...a cute gift bag with some ribbon slides inside. We also made Rosettes decorations for our guests bedroom doors, so when they went to bed, SURPRISE gift on the door!
Jen and I stayed up til 3:30am, and got up at 7:30am.
Saturday we gave 2 optional classes. I taught a Fancy Fold class and Jen taught an ornaments class. After supper, it was Games Night...scavenger hunt, Bingo and door prizes!
We had 4 BIG door prizes with raffle tickets. Shelley won a Big Shot, Chrissy won a family of ink pads, Gail won a package that had the Snowflake Bigz die, Scallop edgelits and Delicate Designs embossing folder and the last winner was Tammy who won the More Merry Messages stamp set, Be of Good Cheer DSP and Gumball Green ribbon.
We are also giving away small prizes throughtout the whole weekend, simply by answering questions like "who drove the furthest?" or "who has the most pets?"
Tonight's Pillow Gift was a gift bag with 2 kinds of ribbon (2 yards each) packaged with a cute bag header.
Tomorrow we have 2 more classes planned ( a scrapbooking class and a mini stamp-a-stack).
Enjoy the pics!

Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stck!

I love doing these events! It's especially awesome when brand new stampers come and realise how fun it is! I had 2 brand new ladies join me last night and they both did really well, stamping and creating their 12 Christmas cards!
Here is what we created...remember, we made 3 each of 4 designs.

The 4 Christmas card designs.

The sleigh card up close.

Part of my display.
Got this idea from Pinterest!

Thanks to everyone who came to create! My next Christmas card stamp-a-stack will be on Sunday November 25 from 1-4 pm! RSVP is mandatory.
