Jolly Christmas

wooden snowflakes embossed in Smokey Slate

I used Smokey Slate embossing powder on the wooden snowflakes. They turned out great!
All products are from the new Holiday catalogue. The stamp set is called Jolly Christmas and features the beautiful stag as well as several sentiments. The Merry Moments designer series paper is a paper stack that coordinates with the Merry Moments paper in the annual catalogue. the silver cording is perfect for tags and packages.

Halloween a Bit Early?

 For me, it is never too early for Halloween. This card features one of my favourite stamp sets (and matching framelits) from the Holiday catalogue. I am also loving the new halloween designer series paper! the BOO is cut from black sparkly paper, and I added googlie eyes to my owl.

Holiday Catalogue Goodies Came!

I love pre-order time! This Holiday catalogue is the absolute BEST catalogue ever! As demonstrators, we get to order these goodies a month early, and if we want (I want) we can spend extra money and have the goodies arrive in 3 days! As customers, you can order on September 1st.

 As always, Stamp Bear loves getting the pre-orders as well. He really likes the wooden snowflakes.

Sweater Weather

I am loving my new product from the Holiday catalogue! I thought I'd share this card I created for one of the swaps I joined at Convention (I leave next week! so excited)!
The designer series paper is called Sweater Weather and is a mixture of plaids and houndstooth and small patterns...really masculine. I also really like the Magnificent Maple stamp...it was part of a bundle from SU that included the Sweater Weather paper, burlap ribbon, a Thanksgiving Tablescape kit and a marker that looks like chalk!
I am thankful SU rewards us with these free bundles, because I would not have looked twice at the maple leaf stamp, and I really like it...especially paired with this paper!

Holiday catalogue pre-order

Stamp Bear and Owl are excited about all the new product from the Holiday catalogue! They don't know what to play with first. Owl is thinking about all the fun things she can make using the new Stripes embossing folder and that cute Christmas paper, and Stamp Bear is excited about the snowflake framelits that he will use to perfectly cut out the beautiful snowflakes from the Festive Flurry stamp set. Printer's Tray

I decided to turn my Hallowe'en Printer's Tray into a Christmas Printer's Tray!
I used the beautiful Candlelight Christmas designer series paper. I used the Snow Flurry Bigz die and made snowflakes out of the silver glimmer paper. I added buttons tied with Cherry cobbler baker's twine. I created the JOY with the Typeset alphabet dies...now I just need to take a really great picture to put in here!

World Card Making day

Saturday, October 6 was World Card Making Day and I spent the day with friends at Auntie Em's. I was quite productive, creating 12 cards, 9 of which were Christmas cards.

Today at the PPA colr Challenge (PPA144), we are using More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso. I chose to use the stamp set Perfectly Preserved and the matching Framelits die Canery Set, both found on page 29 of the Holiday catalogue.

Fun and Fabulous Friday-Christmas

We had a great time tonight at the Fun and Fabulous Friday night class (this happens the last Friday of every month). We made 4 cards and this one is my favourite. I can't take credit for this design though...I found it on Pinterest!

The stamp set used is Jolly Bingo Bits. I used the Be Of Good Cheer designer paper, 1" circle punch, and the new 1 1/4" scallop circle punch from the Holiday catalogue. I also used the Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon.

Treat Bag and NEW Loyalty Card!

Did you know the glassine bags from the Ghoulish Googlies kit are EMBOSSABLE? Well, they are! I embossed this one with the Chevron folder. (I didn't have any treats to put in the bag). I stamped my mummy and punched him out with the wide oval punch then popped him up on the pre-printed tag that comes in the kit. I gave him a googlie eye adhered with a glue dot. I also used the Decorative Label punch and cut it in half, then glued each half behind the tag. I took my crop-a-dial and punched 2 holes at the top and laced my gorgeous 1/2" striped satin ribbon through it and tied it in a bow. Now all it needs is candy corn! (I'm not sayng who ate the candy corn. It might have been Stamp Bear...)

Christmas with Tulle!

I just got the Cherry Cobbler tulle from the Holiday catalogue and I love it! Here are 2 cards I made using the tulle as a ribbon.

For both carda I used the Holiday Ornaments framelits. To create the 3-D ornament. you will need to cut out 3 of the same ornament and fold them in half, then adhere them together on 2 sides.
I cut the tulle at 2 1/2" then folded it in half so it was fuller, then tied with ribbon or twine. Use a glue dot to stick it to the card.

I have been making Christmas cards since July (it is never too early) and I have been coming up with new designs to feature in my Christmas card stamp-a-stacks (where you literally stamp a stack of 12 cards), but I designed this card especially for my Stamper's Club.

I used the Snow Flurry Bigz die and the champagne glimmer paper to create the snowflakes. I stamped the word Joy (from the Joyous Celebrations set) with versamark and embossed with Early Espresso embossing powder. I punched it out with the wide oval punch and popped it up with dimensionals. The paper is from the Candlelight Christmas specialty paper pack and the card base is made with Early Espresso card stock.

Fun and Fabulous Friday party owl

I know, I know, why am I so late? Well, technically it IS still Friday. So, I have been busy creating Stamper's Club projects, Christmas cards for Stamp-a-Stacks, and prepping for classes. I am hosting my Friday Night crop tonight and I was able to create a card just for fun! :) So here is my Party Owl:
