Up, Up and Away!

I LOVE these Sweet Center treat cups! They are absolutely so fun to work with. I think this card would be perfect for a little kid's birthday. I used card stock colours that matched the M&M colours. I used my scallop circle punch to create the clouds.
Also, just a reminder that the Stampin' Addicts blog hop starts on Saturday! We will be showcasing projects made with product from the new Holiday mini catalogue (like these treat cups and Sweet Centers stamp set)! Lots of great ideas to share.

Thanks for stopping by...Have a stampy day!

Pony Party

The Pony Party set is perfect for little girls! Would be great to use for party invites and treat bags. I especially like adding glitter to the mane and tail. These are 2cards I've created with this set. Thanks for stopping by!

Also, Stampin' Addicts is hosting another Blog Hop beginning on Saturday August 29 until Monday August 31. Be sure to check it out!

Sip...So Shelli challenge

It's not as easy as people may think
To only use stamps, paper and ink.
Buttons, brads, glitter...you know
The pretty ribbon tied in a bow.
To not embellish, that was the thing.
Here's my card-with none of the bling!

This is for the SoShelli challenge...Sip. (Stamps, paper ink). No embellies. No punches. No embossing. It was TOUGH!
The bear's scarf was inspired by Kim Lapone.

DEETS:
Stamps: Cold and Cuddly, Snow Swirled
Paper: Ballet Blue, Bashful Blue, Ruby Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Ruby Red.

Let's go shopping!

This is based on MojoMonday's sketch #99. Inside you could put a gift card for a shopping spree! How fun would that be?
I love this new Night and Day paper from the Holiday mini catalogue.

In New Brunswick

I am sorry I have not posted...I left for NB on Friday to visit family and I am just now able to access a computer that has high speed (relatively speaking). The weather in Moncton is HOT! Luckily my brother has a pool!
They also have a cottage near the shore, so we've been spending time there...zero internet connectivity there, but really, who would want it? (Except maybe blogging fiends that are on vacation and need to keep in touch with their peeps)!
I went to the demo locator to find some fellow stampers because I am going through withdrawl, but unfortunately I was unable to meet up with anyone...too bad. I will be home Thursday night, so Friday, watch out! I am DYING to create so I will have LOTS to post!
See ya, and for those who are able to access their stampin' supplies, think of me while you create!

More Swap cards from Convention

Most of the swapping I did was for Caroline LeBel, who is busy planning our Stampin'Palooza and wasn't able to come to Convention...she will be going to Founder's Circle in September, though! But I did manage to swap a bit for myself. Here are more samples.
Above is the cool Halloween set called From the Crypt, created by Anna Haase.

This pretty card uses the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set Very Thankful. Two dollars from every set sold is donated to RMHC. Card created by Vera Schoeters.

This is TOTALLY cute! It was made using the Big Shot #2 die and various other punches. There is no information as to who created this, sorry.

One of the best cards using the Manhatten Flower embossing folders that I have seen. Created by Liz Gullett.
I am leaving for a very brief trip to Moncton, NB and I will be back on Thursday. I will try to update the blog while I am away.

Swap Cards from Convention

One of the most fun parts of Convention is the swapping. Here are just 5 of my favourites. I'll post more tomorrow.
This beautiful autumn card is by Elizabeth Ecsy.

Totally cute dog card by Sherry Nye.

LOVE this tool card by Jessi Irwin! Now I need this set!

Very pretty in pink. Love the layout of this card by Alicia Capps.

Isn't this adorable? Love this tree idea by Sally Jercha.

More Convention Stuff!

Stamp Bear met lots of awesome people. Like Dirk, that crazy fun Stampin' Up! Photographer, that really reminds me of Johnny Fairplay from Survivor a few seasons back. Except Dirk is nice.

Oh, this was so wonderful. Stamp Bear meets Mary Poulcin. She is so incredible! I want to be her when I grow up.

Stamp Bear meets Spencer Willis, aka Dusty Durango. (I had a Dusty Durango once; it went to the wreckers). Do you think he'll ever live that down at the office?

Stamp Bear is such a playa! Look at him making the moves on that cheerleader bear. Naughty.
Tomorrow, I will post some of the incredible swaps I got for Caroline, who I was swapping for.

Meet Stamp Bear

This is Stamp Bear. He is exclusive to Stampin' Up! by the Build-a-Bear company. Notice the SU! logo on his paw? He also has his own apron and his own rubber stamp. Above, this is Stamp Bear's first swap.
Stamp Bear went to the Stampin' Addicts Meet and Greet and met a bunch of awesome ladies!

Stamp Bear meets Jan Tink and Dawn Griffith.

Stamp Bear meets Barbara Jean.

Stamp Bear meets Beedubya (Brandi).

Stamp Bear meets Hollylogic (Holly).

Stamp Bear meets HotTandra (Tandra).

Stamp Bear gets his party on.

The next day, Stamp Bear meets Shelli and gets a tattoo...Shelli's signature on his paw.
Stay tuned for more updates on Adventures With Stamp Bear as he meets some amazing people!

Back from Convention!

Wow, am I ever tired! What a fun trip though! The first day, while EVERYONE else was lined up at Momento Mall, I walked around the Marketing Resource part of the Gathering Place. I was randomly selected, along with a few others, to create a sample for the Holiday Extravaganza display board. The first photo shows me pointing to my card. Not only did I get to play with whatever SU products I wanted that were on the table, I got to keep the stamp set! So I walked away with Just Beclause.
That night I met up with some ladies from Splitcoast Stampers for a dinner at the Blue Iguana. We were able to pick up our SCS T-shirts...I took a photo of Dina with her T-shirt. The above photo is just some of us crazy ladies swapping our cards!

Tomorrow, I will introduce you to Stamp Bear. He had many adventures at Convention! You'll want to read all about it and see his photos of all the people he met and trouble he got into!

Convention Bound!

Well, almost. I leave in a few hours. I just can't sleep.
So I will do my best to post while I am in Salt Lake City. I do not have a laptop, but perhaps someone will share theirs with me.
So keep checking for updates!
