Rock On!

In keeping with the sponged edges around the embossed background...
I used Extreme Elements and Grunge Rock for this card (page 89 and 87 respectively). The colours are Basic Black, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I slashed up a piece of Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon and stapled it on. Oh, and I took my scissors and distressed the edges...ripped them up a bit. I had fun with this card and made a couple to have on hand.

Owl you need is love...

Every month I get together with some scrapping friends for our monthly crop...yesterday was the day. I created about 10 cards, and these 2 are my faves. I used the Love Letter designer paper...the colours are Crumb Cake, Black, Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler.
The first card looks so Gothic to me. I sponged black ink around the edges of the Cherry Cobbler card stock. The second card is based on the Mojo Monday sketch.
I sure had fun with my owl punch...I hadn't used it in quite a while. I also really like the patterns of the designer paper (page 173 in the catalogue). The sentiment "live laugh love" was a set I chose for FREE as my one of my Saleabration sets...it's on page 183.

Enjoy

This is one of my thank you cards for this month. I used the Elegant Soiree designer paper, Soft Suede card stock and Crumb Cake card stock. I inked the flower and sentiment in Soft Suede ink. The ribbon is the old Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, I just used the other side of it.
Thanks for looking!

This is one of the workshop cards I've been doing the past few weeks, and I think it is fitting for Valentine's Day! I love the pearls and the black satin ribbon. This stamp set is Bliss, one of the FREE Saleabration choices.

Sense of Time

Hello everyone! I have noticed, over the past few months, my style has definitely changed. I am really enjoying more vintage images, though I have always preferred earth tones. I finally broke down and got the Sense of Time stamp set (page 127 in the catalogue) and this is my first attempt with it. I used the new game pieces from the Occasions Mini...it looks so cool! The background is stamped with the En Francais background stamp then stamped over with the cogs from the Sense of Time set. The colours are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Whisper White.

Sew Fabulous!

I had a scraptastic weekend, stamping with my friends! Here is one of the cards I made, perfect for that sewer in your life...in my case, my mom. I thought of maybe takingb the Billboard alphabet and cutting out S-E-W so it would read Sew fabulous...I think I'll try that!
I love how the new SU big buttons co-ordinate with the paper and fabric...these buttons are great!

Sharing from team extravaganza

Hi everyone! I had my first HUGE Stamps Around Town team event on Saturday and here are 2 of the 4 projects we made. I am so thankful for the 22 ladies that were able to come and enjoy a day of stamping with me. I also enjoyed the My Digital Studio training (presented by fellow demo Jenn Nusbaum)...it was great to see how excited people got and couldn't wait to get home to try it out! So happy for Rachel Petry who won the My Digital Studio door prize! Congrats to all the door prize winners! Thanks to my 3 wonderful helpers: Raymonde, Rachel and Maureen! So looking forward to planning another one!

I LOVE this stamp set!

I don't usually upload photos of projects I make using retired product, but I LOVE this stamp set. It's called Snowburst, and I bought it from a fellow demonstrator. I have made several different cards using this set, but this is one of my favourites. It's a 6x6 card and inside there is a Stampin'Up! gift certificate (I used the slit punch to hold the GC in). It is for a customer, from her mom. And of course, I added a bit of bling!
Have a great weekend!

Christmas cards for my mom

These are just 2 designs I made for my mom for her cards this year. The first card is stamped with Cherry Cobbler and the sentiment is embossed with gold. The inside is also embossed.
The second card uses the Petals a Plenty embossing folder. I also added bling on the poinsettia images.
Thanks for stopping by!
