Fun and Fabulous Friday...sneak peek!

My monthly Fun and Fabulous Friday class is tomorrow night...we create 4 simple cards that are easy to reproduce and recreate at home. Here is a sneak peek at one of the cards we will be creating:

This card uses the stamp set Betsy's Blossoms. The colour scheme is More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive. The sentiment is from the stamp set Curley Cute. I also stamped the wing on a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut it out, then popped it up with dimensionals.
To create this card and 3 others, send me an email to register for the Fun and Fabulous Friday class. To see my other upcoming events, click HERE.

Pumpkin with Punches

I have seen pics of other people's punkins using the oval punch, and I don't know why it took me so long to try this...but I finally did. I decided to use the wide oval punch, then use different embossing folders to add texture. I used the 5 petal punch for the stem then added a button tied with twine.

I think next time, I will sponge around the pumpkin as well.
I had a great stamping weekend...Friday Night crop, All Day crop then a fabulous card class in Ottawa with great friends! To see when my next classes and crops are, click HERE.

Autumn scrapbook page

Well, I have not yet printed my photos...but I have a page already for them!
I used the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP from the Holiday catalogue. I die cut the leaves (some with the gorgeous Champagne glitter paper) added some ribbon...now I just need the photos.
I had a wonderful Friday Night Crop...thanks to all who came! My monthly All Day Crop is tomorrow, so off to bed I go!

Halloween Haunts!

Happy Halloween! My first Halloween Haunts class was on Saturday and we had a BLAST! Everyone showed up in costume and earned tickets towards the door prize. We also played Spooky Bingo and the winners earned tickets. The lucky winner was Chrissy, who won the Jack of all Trades stamp set.
I had so much fun creating all the decorations for this class. I even made the ghost-out of cheese cloth and starch! Our make and takes were 3 cards and a treat bag that we filled with treats from the candy bar.
My next Halloween Haunts class is Oct.10! To register for this, or any other class, send me an email: comestampwithme@cogeco.ca

Friends scrapbook pages

I am not usually a kit person, but I had a few requests...so I bought some of the Stampin'Up! scrapbook kits and I am pleasantly surprised at what I can do with them! I have been playing with the Afternoon Daydream kit from our annual catalogue, and the Merry Moments kit from the Holiday catalogue, and I liked them so much...that I bought all the other kits available! I will be composing a scrapbook class around these kits, so stay tuned for those details!
Here are pics of the Afternoon Daydream pages I created. I posted the full 2 page layout first, then each page individually.

If you have never tried scrapbooking with kits, I reccomend it! Each kit contains:
8 sheetes of 12x12 card stock (2 of each colour)
6 sheets of double-sided paper (3 of each design)
3 sheets of card stock stickers (1 of each sheet design, 12x12)
Cost is only 26.95 for each kit!
Don't forget, for September only, Stampin'Up! is giving away 1 roll of satin stitched ribbon available in 5 In Colours FREE with a 50.00 order...order 2 kits and get free ribbon!
Have a great day!
