Scrapbook pages

First, sorry for my absence. The abandoned cat we decided to keep on New Year's eve had 7 kittens last week! Also, my BunBun went into stasis, so we had some emergency vet visits to deal with.  Supplementing kitten feeding, and medicating and hand feeding the BunBun take up a lot of time! :0
Here are the pages:

I used the Storytime designer paper (#126907) and the co-ordinating stamp set, Storybook Friends (#126737) for both pages.
And just for your cuteness quota, here are some kittens:
They are getting big! Their eyes are not yet open; they are a week old as of last night.
Have a great Monday!

Autumn scrapbook page

Well, I have not yet printed my photos...but I have a page already for them!
I used the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP from the Holiday catalogue. I die cut the leaves (some with the gorgeous Champagne glitter paper) added some ribbon...now I just need the photos.
I had a wonderful Friday Night Crop...thanks to all who came! My monthly All Day Crop is tomorrow, so off to bed I go!

Friends scrapbook pages

I am not usually a kit person, but I had a few requests...so I bought some of the Stampin'Up! scrapbook kits and I am pleasantly surprised at what I can do with them! I have been playing with the Afternoon Daydream kit from our annual catalogue, and the Merry Moments kit from the Holiday catalogue, and I liked them so much...that I bought all the other kits available! I will be composing a scrapbook class around these kits, so stay tuned for those details!
Here are pics of the Afternoon Daydream pages I created. I posted the full 2 page layout first, then each page individually.

If you have never tried scrapbooking with kits, I reccomend it! Each kit contains:
8 sheetes of 12x12 card stock (2 of each colour)
6 sheets of double-sided paper (3 of each design)
3 sheets of card stock stickers (1 of each sheet design, 12x12)
Cost is only 26.95 for each kit!
Don't forget, for September only, Stampin'Up! is giving away 1 roll of satin stitched ribbon available in 5 In Colours FREE with a 50.00 order...order 2 kits and get free ribbon!
Have a great day!

A 12x12 page based on a sketch

I was blog hopping and visited Lyssa's blog and she had posted this sketch. I really liked it and wrote that I would create my own page based on this sketch. You'll notice my version is slightly different, but all the elements are there, just arranged a bit differently.
That is the best thing about using sketches...you can copy exactly or play around with it a bit. I plan on using this sketch again, and my page will likely be much different than this one!

I used new Occasions Mini product as well as some regular catty product:
-12x12 Chocolate Chip card stock
-Sending Love specialty DSP
-scallop trim border punch
-Heart of Heart embosslits die
-I [love] love wheel
-With All My Heart stamp set
-Heart to Heart punch
-Serif Essentials alphabet die

I hope you like my page, even though the photos aren't on there yet! Thanks for stopping by!

Ethan

LOVE this paper-it's the same paper I used for the Sam Rocks page.
This is my neice's baby, Ethan. He is just over one year old. I met him at my neice's wedding a couple of weeks ago. He is very cute and funny! See that black and white photo of him? I have a pic somewhere of his mom and she looks just like that! I want to do a page with a side by side of both pics...assoon as I findit! LOL! I sold 4 more boxes of cards today-for 120.00. That's half my room at Salt Lake City. If I can sell another 4 boxes, or individual cards, and make another 120.00, my room AND my flight will have been paid for by selling cards since Mother's Day! How cool would that be!
(Hey, anybody need cards? LOL!)

camping fun

The scan came out crooked-ack!
This was another DT project. I used my friend Michelle's pictures because they camp and we don't! LOL! Plus the subject matter isa so darn cute! She takes great photos, too.

Sam Rocks

This was created for my design team. I LOVE this paper! I used the SU star punches to mimic the stars in the paper.

What're YOU Lookin' at?

I made this page at Auntie Em's free crop last Saturday. My mom's friend had given us the cat house and my cats immediately took to it.

Splish Splash

Remember the awesome Imaginesce paper line I worked with a while back? Besides the 6 cards I made, I also created this 12 x 12 page of my niece and nephew. I think these summer penguins are adorable!

Some scrapbook pages for my DT

So Tina gave me a bunch of paper and asked me to make some scrapbook pages. The Rock Star paper is really fun, and I asked my cousin David if I could print off some of his old band photos for these layouts. This is David and his band After the Fact performing at Barrymore's in Ottawa in 1988.

Then I was asked to use this paper and I printed off more pictures of Stephanie's puppy, Bruno. I LOVE this LO!
I also had paper left over and made some cards with it, but I'll let that be a surprise for her, as I know she reads my blog! (Hi Tina! I'll be by tomorrow!)

Top Dog

This is my friend Stephanie's new puppy Bruno. He is a Bermise Mountain dog. I had this paper and matching embellishments just waiting for cute dog pictures and she was kind enough to send them to me! Yep, I stitched on this LO, too!

The LO is from the sketch in the winter 08 edition of scrapbook & cards today, page 55.

The Most Perfect Day

OK, this started out being a LO for my Dr. Suess challenge ("Big S, little s, what begins with S? Sarah Sweetly Smiling. S, S, S." But I just kept layering the papers and stitching everywhere and decided to leave it just the way it is. All papers and embellishments are from the We R Memory Keepers BoHo Chic collection.

Family portrait

This is a picture of my mom and her family when she was about 8. This paper has been in my stash for so long, I have no idea what the manufacturer is. The patterned ribbon is from Foo-fa-la. The stamped image is from CTMH.

Danny-O

Kaleb and Abby & Me 2007. Used the American Crafts rub-ons for the title. I love this paper...it's called Danny-O (I forget the manufacturer). It's perfect boy paper! Lots of stitching on this page also! The only stamping is down at the bottom...I used the "delight" stamp from the Define Your Life set from Stampin' Up.

If you click on the image, it will get bigger and you will be able to see all the stitching detail.

Our Littly Kitty Lily

My LSS, Auntie Em's, was having her annual inventory sale with 25% off the entire store. I picked up some paper, card stock, adhesive and chipboard (you know, the staples!). This whole paper line is Kitty's place by s.e.i. and is just so CUTE and colourful!
I pulled out my sewing machine and stitched all over this page. My friend Paula stitches all the time on her LOs and I was inspired!
Lily adopted one of the Christmas gift boxes as her new bed.

Oh, scary kitty...

Oh, Emma, you are so frightfull! LOL!

Emma likes to sleep on the top bunk bed. I took these photos of her during one of her 12 hour naps. Her big yawn looks so scary, doesn't it?

The paper is Basic grey figgy Pudding, the card stock is bazzill bling, the chipboard letters are from maya road and the title is done with my new favourite thing, the American crafts mini marks rub-ons.

Winter Layouts

Winter is good for at least one thing....taking awesome photos! (If you click on the photo, you will get a bigger image to see the detail).
I am really into clustering photos on LOs lately...I think that comes from visiting Leena's blog. Her pages are FAB!
I used Gel-a-Tin's Retro Snowflakes and random-stamped them in Ballet Blue ink along the side. I also stamped CTMH Christmas Script words along the photos. The 2007 was stamped onto navy card stock and cut out. The chipboard snowflake was inked in Night of Navy. The card stock is Bazzill bling in light blue and SU Night of Navy. This LO uses Bazzill bling cardstock in navy and light blue. I love the sparkle this card stock has! The snowflake transparancy is from Hambly. I picked it up at Scrap En Masse in Alfred. The top photo of Kaleb is under the transparancy, so it looks like Kaleb is in a blizzard, and the other photos are on top of the transparancy. The title was stamped using CTMH The Works alphabet. I used some words from CTMH Christmas Script and stamped on the photo and transparancy with black StazOn.

Had a great weekend!

It is dark and rainy here today, so there is no natural light, so I apologize for the dark photo.
OK, Saturday was an AWESOME day! I went to an all day crop and had so much FUN! I kept awesome company and made 3 LOs and 12 cards. I also stepped out to cut my hair off...this growing it long was not working out and the hair was annoying me all morning, so off I went to get it chopped.
Paula was sitting beside me and she brought her sewing machine and stitched on 2 of my LOs. I LOVE the way it looks!
Sunday, I did nothing. It was lovely. Well, except for my horrible ear ache. Mike ran the dishwasher, emptied it and put them away, PLUS he did 2 loads of laundry. PLUS he made supper. He's a pretty great guy.
Here's one of the LOs Paula stitched on.
All products used are from Stampin' Up. (I still need to do my journalling).

Kaleb and the Box

Here's another LO I did last weekend.
The paper is Enchanted from CTMH; the alphabets are Typewriter Keys and Rustic from CTMH.

I have a craft show tomorrow that I need to get ready for. I always leave everything til the last minute...bad habit!
