Spring card

I think they call this a tent topper card...(?)
This is one of the projects for tonight's Stamper's Club. I used the Springtime Vintage DSP from the mini. My fave butterflies from Great Friend, the leaf sizzlet, Scallop Circle #2 die, scallop circle punch and 1 3/8" circle punch round off the list.

Funky Four

Again, I am having scan issues...
Hello everyone! I made this card using the flowers from Funky Four (page 93 of the catalogue) which was one of my FREE saleabration choices. I used the word thanks from the Fabulous Phrases set (page 149). I like the colours quite a bit and made a bunch of these to have on hand.
Saleabration is almost done! Contact me if you want free stuff!

In distress!

We will return you to your regularly scheduled Stampin'Up! program shortly...for now we are watching Tim TV, the monochromatic channel.

I crackle painted!

I think the blue is my fave. Which one is yours?

Purple passion

Stampin'Up purists, this post is not for you. :)
I recently began watching what I call "Tim TV"...video demos by Tim Holtz. I was very interested in trying some product, so went to my LSS and bought some Tim Holtz stuff. I played around for a bit with my favourite technique where I crinkle the card stock, rub the Distress Ink over top, spritz with water then watch it blend...so pretty when done with this gorgeous purple called Dusty Concord. I then blended with a light purple called Milled Lavender. A perfect combination. What's great about the Distress Inks is that they react with water to create gorgeous designs.
I stamped the chandelier with black Archival ink (my new fave black) then embossed with black powder. I also used the Archival ink to stamp the damask pattern along the side and bottom. I distressed the edges a bit and matted the chandelier image on Concord Cruch card stock (from SU) then again on Basic Black card stock (also SU). Both ribbons and bling are from SU. The Concord Crush ribbon and card stock match perfectly with the Dusty Concord Distress Ink.

Here is the inside of the card. It is for my neighbour Julia who turns 14 today.
Thank you for looking.

a little vintage

Another card I made last Friday night...very vintage. I used the Love Letter designer paper. The flower was made using the Fun Flowers die...I scrunched up all the petals and secured with an Antique Brad.

thank you for being you

Every second Friday night I go cropping at Auntie Em's (my local scrapbook store). I always have fun and I am usually creative. Last night was a huge surprise because they celebrated my birthday (which was March 1) with a SCRUMPTIOUS cheesecake (it had caramel in it!) and a beautiful azalea plant. That's the second time I was surprised for my birthday, because my stamper's club members also gave me a party on club night...and Maureen made a to-die-for homemade cheesecake with chocolate sauce! I was spoiled with a pretty silver necklace, enough tea to last my life and homemade preserves.
I am lucky to have met such great friends...all thanks to Stampin' Up!
Now to the card...made last night using Circle Circus and Bold Blossom. I used the pretty Springtime Vintage buttons from the Occasions mini. I crimped the bottom of the card, because it needed something there. Punches are large oval and scallop oval.
Have a great day!
