I went shopping at my local scrapbook store (Auntie Em's) and bought this GORGEOUS paper by Carolee's Creations.
I love it! There are 3 sheets that co-ordinate with each other plus a sheet of matching self-adhesive images (a fancy word for stickers). I think my fave is the Warm and Cozy card. You know, I think these would be great masculine cards, also!

Well, Tuesday is officially the day I will upload Baby Cards! Today, I am showcasing cards made with the Simply Scrappin' Kit Just Delightful, which is a limited edition kit only available until Feb. 28 and is FREE with any 75.00 order! (don't have a Sale-a-bration mini catalogue? Drop me an email with your address and I'll mail you one! Or visit the catalogue online at my website...comestampwithme.stampinup.net)
The first card is Baby Giraffe.I cut the striped paper and layered it on Certainly Celery card. I cut the flowery paper and matted it on Certainly Celery. I stamped the giraffe in Certainly Celery ink on white card stock and matted it on Certainly Celery. Used dimensionals to pop the image up. Used white grosgrain to finish it off.Baby Elephant Card: I used the stamp set, "Wild About You" and the Simply Scrappin' Kit Just Delightful. I stamped "wild about you" in Bashful Blue on the card base. Icut the striped paper and matted it with Certainly Celery. I stamped the main elephant in Bashful Blue and stamped him again on a scrap paper and cut out hisear. I added his ear to the main image using dimensionals. Elephant image is matted on Bashful blue, then on Certainly Celery. Added 3 celery brads to finish it off.

I'm such an addict. I admit it. It was Beanie Babies, Legos, rubber stamps, and now this. The Littlest Pet Shop.
We went to visit a friend on Friday. Their daughter dragged out all her LPS stuff from Santa. They are SO ADORABLE! What time is WalMart open til? 10.00pm? I'm so there!
Unfortunately, we live in Small Ville so there is NO selection. I manage to snag the Pet Care Center that comes with a dog, cat and gecko.
Saturday rolls around. My husband and I are doing our normal Saturday stuff. I say, "Wanna go to the States?" (Massena, NY is just 20 mins. away). He says, "Sure!" So off we go, cross the border, on a LPS hunt! We score big at WalMart! The selection is awesome! We choose a Pet Playground set that comes with a cat and a mouse.
Sunday I had planned to go to Stittsville to visit my friend and upline, Jen, for a day of stamping. "Hey!" I say to my husband, "Would you like to visit your brother?" He says, yeah, why not. "Here's another thought," I say. " We could go to Toys R Us!"
Well, Toys R us is a pretty big store. You'd think there would be a large selection, yes? NO! They had 2 things. 2! About 100 of the stupid LPS carry cases, that do nothing except store your pets. And about 100 of the stupid pets that slurp from a bottle. that's it. the whole LPS selection. This is not Toys R Us...this is Toys We're Not!
We leave, angry but not defeated! We will go to Play Value! They have a warehouse size store. Surely they will have LPS.
No. They do not even carry LPS.
We end up at Zellers where we find a small selection of pets and get a rabbit and a frog.
Here it is Monday. Has it really only been 2 days since we first set our eyes upon LPS? Yet our addiction has taken us to another COUNTRY in search of more!

OK, so another trip to the vet tonight, this time with Nicki. She had developed a slight limp a couple of days ago. We thought maybe she just hurt herself jumping off the bed or something. But since it wasn't improving, we thought it best to get it looked at.
The vet takes one look at her walk and says, "I think she has diabetes." He does a test. Her blood sugar is 24.8. What should it be? Between 4 and 8! So, yeah, her blood sugar is a little high! OK, so what does this entail? Well, she needs insulin, twice a day, every day. She will need to come to the vet once a week for about 6-8 weeks to get her blood sugar tested. She needs to be on a special diet. Good Lord!
I am so happy it's treatable, but how am I possibly going to pay for everything? The "special" diet food is outrageous! Is there enough time in the day for me to get a THIRD job?
I am sure I'll manage somehow. It's just so overwhelming.
What ELSE could possibly go wrong?
