Salt Lake City Day 1 (a little shopping)

 With an hour delay on our first flight, we actually DID make to Chicago to make our connecting flight to Salt Lake City! Josee Smuck was on my flight from Ottawa and we met up with other demos on the way to SLC.
Supper at The Olive Garden (of course!) and met 2 demos from Windsor area and they joined me.
Went shopping at the Gateway Mall. Found a store called Christopher and Banks...and they were having a sale! There were lots of othere demos there (saw Kay Smith from Newfoundland) and we were encouraging each other, trying on and modelling. I ended up purchassing some pretty awesome clothes. all at 33% off!

 Then they wrap the stuff up like it's your birthday! So you get to unwrap it all, and it's so fun.

So here are my clothes: 3 tops, a pair of jeans and 2 pairs of earrings. I'll be wearing them this week!
So, tomorrow is bag pick-up and Momento Mall! Be sure to check back for updates and pics!

Fun and Fabulous Friday...BOO!

 I LOVE these little guys! This is a stamp set from the upcoming Holiday mini catalogue. It is called Googly Ghouls. The Designer series Paper is called Howlstooth and Scaringbone (LOVE that!)

So, it is my first Friday night Crop...here is my downline Jeannette working hard on her cards.

Butterflies!

Love this card!

I am a fan of butterfly stamps. I have quite a few of them. When I saw this set in the catalogue, I was very excited...it has a matching punch! The green butterfly on this card is actually punched out and popped up. This is a favourite workshop card of mine.
Remember...this Friday July 13 is my first BFF! (Bring a Friend Friday) It is a Friday night crop from 6:00pm to midnight! Cost is only 10.00 (or 5.00 if you are a Stamper's Club member) and includes coffee or tea and access to my stamps, ink, punches and Big Shot. Come on by!

Fun and Fabulous Friday...Christmas Snowflakes

For today's Fun and Fabulous Friday, I chose inspiration from my friend Julie...only I used the brand spanking new Snowflake Soiree (from the upcoming Holiday Mini)...consider this a sneak peek!
The colour scheme is Cherry Cobbler and Pink Pirouette...kind of different for Christmas, but it appeals to me. I added a sparkle by way of Rhinestone Jewels on the "i" of Believe.
I want to try this with Midnight Muse and Silver...that would be gorgeous! Why don't you try this card at home...use any stamp set and colour combo...play around and get creative!

Holiday Mini Order is HERE!

Oh, how I love new stuff! I ordered so much from the Holiday mini and I will be using the new product in my upcoming classes, Stamper's Clubs and workshops! New card and ribbon shares

 This is a card I created using the stamp set I won at the Team Training event...it's called No Peeking. I used Chocolate Chip, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. I used the new In Colour ribbon in Gumball Green.

Fun Filled Weekend!

 This past weekend I went to a team training event put on by Josee Smuck, Marlayne Hardy and Maggie Patterson. The information was wonderful, plus we made 9 projects and best of all, I won an AWESOME door prize!

 Here are 2 of the projects we made...a cute tea bag gift holder (above) and a really cool candy treat cup covered up with the flower edgelits (below)...the candy is in a treat cup behind the top flower.

 Here is Stamp Bear with the very amazing door prize I won...3 stamp sets! Included were No Peeking, One in a Million and Cheers to You. I used the No Peeking stamp set that evening at the cottage and made a really cute card that I will upload tomorrow.

So that brings me to the rest of the weekend...stamping at Jen's cottage. Every year Jen treats her top demonstrators to a stamping weekend at her cottage and we have loads of fun. Unfortunately, i had to leave early due to work, but it was still a great weekend.
While I was sleeping, apparantly Stamp Bear got into some trouble...Jen took the photos but I was only allowed to see 2 of them...so I am not sure how MUCH trouble he got into...perhaps she will share the photos?

When I first saw the Fine Feathers set on page 79, I knew immediately it would work well with Nature Walk (also page 79). I absolutely LOVE the way this card turned out. A perfectly simple design easy to recreate...perfect for Fun and Fabulous Friday!
